Fuel Gas and Supply Systems (FGSS), a product line in Marine Power, is developing, managing, marketing, selling, and delivering complete systems for the storage and handling of alternative fuels on board.



The fuels covered by FGSS include LNG, methanol, Ammonia and hydrogen.



We are looking for two Development Project Managers to support our growing business and lead the development of new systems and features for all alternative fuels.



In this position you will have the responsibility of assigned development projects with the target to bring a working solution to the market.



If you have strong engineering skills, a project management background, a keen interest for the environment and you are excited to work in a new and unexplored business, this could be the position for you!



Location: The preferred location for the position is either Finland, Poland, Italy or Sweden.



Responsibilities:

  • Definition of the problem and of the resources needed
  • Project definition and project planning
  • Coordination of resources of different backgrounds (mechanical, process and electrical) to develop a working and competitive solution
  • Overall project responsibility and respect of deadlines
  • Project execution

     

Requirements:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. (Technical)
  • Knowledge about alternative fuels and their process systems is seen as a benefit
  • Gas fuel system and gas engine design knowledge of Wärtsilä brand portfolio is considered as a benefit
  • Very good English knowledge - both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an international team
  • Good coordination and leadership skills

     

Who are we looking for?



We are looking for a person that has a good understanding of different engineering aspects and that can coordinate team members from different disciplines to develop new systems and features for our products.
