Region Norrbotten is the county’s largest employer with approximately 7,500 employees, most of them work within health and medical care, but we also provide dental care, IT and education. Public Dental Service: Public Dental Service Norrbotten, with clinics in all municipalities, has the primary task to offer children and youth dental care free of charge and ensure specialist dental care for the county residents. We also cover a significant part of the adult dental care in the county and we work under vision “A healthy mouth in all ages”. We have approximately 540 employees. We have an important mission. We are now searching for six dentists to Norrbotten. Three dentists will be working in Boden, two in Luleå and one in Haparanda.
Main responsibilities / Tasks: As a dentist in public dental service, Region Norrbotten, you work with modern dental care and preventive actions where every team member skills are taken advantage of and where cooperation permeates the organization. You will work in a team with experienced colleagues that will guide and support you and you will be able to consult specialists.
Required profile: We are looking for dentists who: ¬ are service minded and recognize that good dental care is essential ¬ are interested in the development of dental care ¬ want to be part of a team and who see challenges as opportunities that are encountered on a daily basis ¬ want to take part in influencing our activities towards better dental care processes For a position as a dentist, you must be a registered dentist in an EU/EEA country, and preferably have a license to practice in Sweden. If you are a student and will graduate shortly you are also welcome to send your application. If you do not have a license to practice in Sweden, you need a strong motivation to learn Swedish as this is required to receive the Swedish license to practice, and to perform the work with documentation and communication with patients and colleagues. The company offers: We offer full time employment (40 hrs per week) and our ambition is a permanent employment. We will support with practical arrangements like accommodation and introduction program and provide language training for about 26 weeks. The employment starts in August 2018 with intensive Swedish education which gradually will be combined with clinical introduction.
