Creative Floral Assistant
Balla Florists, an award-winning floral design studio based in the heart of Mayo, is seeking a Creative Floral Assistant to join our talented team. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for flowers, design, and creativity to be part of one of Ireland’s leading wedding and event floristry studios.
As a Creative Floral Assistant, you’ll play a key role in preparing and designing floral arrangements for weddings, events, and corporate clients. You’ll assist with day-to-day studio operations — from flower conditioning and setup preparation to on-site installations at stunning venues across the West of Ireland.
You’ll work closely with our senior florists to bring artistic visions to life, gaining hands-on experience in high-end floral design, styling, logistics, and event setup.
Has a love of flowers, creativity, and design
Works well in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in detail and presentation
Enjoys teamwork but can also take initiative
A background in floristry, horticulture, or visual arts is an advantage (but not essential — training can be provided)
Full clean driving licence preferred
