Welcome to the rehabilitation clinic and pain clinic in Växjö!
We are now looking for a qualified physician with specialist training in rehabilitation medicine or another specialty, with a keen interest in the rehabilitation and treatment of long-term pain.
The rehabilitation clinic in Växjö provides specialised rehabilitation after somatic illness or injury, primarily for adults from Kronoberg County. Rehabilitation is carried out in inpatient, outpatient and pain management programmes.
We have a person-centred philosophy that permeates rehabilitation and is clear in our dealings with patients, their relatives, staff and other stakeholders. We work in interdisciplinary teams with contributions from different areas of expertise and with an individualised rehabilitation plan as a basis. These teams consist by physicians with specialist training in rehabilitation medicine, general medicine, anaesthesiology and geriatrics, as well as specialist skills in pain management. Together with nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists and counsellors, we form a strong team around the patient.

Tasks
As a specialist or consultant in the pain clinic, you will work with specialised rehabilitation of patients with long-term pain conditions. The work involves assessment and treatment on an individual or group basis, as well as group teaching.
In the clinic for patients with long-term benign pain there are also patients in need off specialist assessment. We offer you the unique opportunity, together with the other professionals in the team, to shape and develop this area of the business. This includes carrying out multimodal assessments, treatment interventions, elucidating the patient's pain mechanisms, drawing up individual treatment plans and interacting with various stakeholders around the patients.
