We are looking for a Compliance Engineer who will help us meet market demands and guarantee compliance with existing and new regulations within the wind market.
The position
With reference to the Chief Project Manager, you will join our R&D team in Rødkærsbro and be responsible for planning and executing product approvals and certifications internationally.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
- Plan, coordinate, and perform activities to ensure compliance
- Ensure needed documentation and tests to make CE certificates
- Monitor and detect changes to existing standards
- Ensure new certifications are completed as planned
- Drive negotiations and approval processes with international authorities
- Monitor and acquire patents for R&D
- Plan and execute tests in collaboration with internal and external test labs
- Document test specifications and results in written reports
- Provide input to marketing material
The position involves traveling up to 40 days a year.
Professional qualifications
You have an educational background within electronics, electro technology or computer science as technician or engineer. Preferably, you have practical and proven experience with industrial product compliance, and you have knowledge of worldwide standards, directives and regulatory requirements within the wind market. Examples of these are safety approvals like IEC 13849, wind turbine standards like GL2010, EMC and industrial standard (IEC/EN 61000 and IEC/EN 60068).

Personal qualifications
You are proactive, systematic and detail-oriented and are able to drive safety approvals. You work independently and are not afraid of being on your own among international authorities, with whom you are in close contact. Internally you are a team player and seek to build relations with important stakeholders in the organization.
You have solid written and verbal English skills.
