Chefs wanted for Hotel Tylösand

Welcome to an exciting and varied summer job as one of the chefs at Hotel Tylösand by the Kattegat sea in Halmstad – the most interesting resort on the Swedish west coast.

Since Roxette star Per Gessle became a co-owner in 1995, Hotel Tylösand has been an ever-stronger magnet for entertainment, music, spa, creative conferences and everything else connected with a good life. But now thousands of guests are waiting to enjoy a summer by the sea again.

That’s why we’re looking for chefs with the relevant experience to help us out: sous chefs, grill chefs, sushi chefs, station chefs, breakfast chefs and pizza chefs.

Our four restaurants cover our ambition to inspire our guests by always offering something more than you’d expect.

• Restaurant Tylöhus is classic Swedish à la carte menu with influences from the French cuisine, the Tylösand way.

• Bettans Bar is all about sushi, seafood and Asian fusion, where we create new exciting taste sensations with the Asian cuisine and seafood as the guiding light.

• Leif’s Bar & Grill offer high-class grilled dishes with Mediterranean influences, as well as stone oven baked pizzas in a rustic and relaxed environment.

• Titus Tapas is our version of the greatest smaller hits from the Spanish cuisine, with inspiration and tastes from all over the world.

You have at least five years documented experience, are quality conscious, and can deliver top-class work in all situations. That means an ability to handle stressful situations apart from having a genuine interest in cooking. You are careful, ambitious, have a positive mindset and a team player. Experience from multi-cultural cooking, preferably in an international environment, is meriting.

The job positions are both seasonal, permanent, and extra if needed. Working hours will be during days, evenings and weekends, with possible extension. Interviews will be done on and ongoing basis. Salary is according to collective agreement, and we’ll mediate contacts for accommodation.
