Winter season as a chef in Lapland! A whole different working experience far away in North!

We are looking for energetic and professional chefs with lots of positive attitude to work in the area of Northern Finland, Lapland, during the next winter season.

If you want to experience something unique and mystical, Lapland is the right place for you. Lapland is exceptional, geographically, spiritually and any other way you can imagine. The heart of mystical nature can always be found in Lapland. Even though the world would be changing, the Aurora Borealis, stars in the sky, and the polar night remain the same. Witnessing the magical Northern Lights dancing up above is once in a lifetime experience for many. Why wouldnt you be a part of creating magical experiences in Lapland?

Job description:

As the winter is the peak season, working days can be very busy. Applicants should possess the ability to work quickly and cope with pressure. It is essential you have a friendly yet professional persona and you must be a strong team player with and great attention to details.

The role will involve:

  • Relevant educational background.
  • Relevant work experience.
  • Good spoken English, other languages are considered an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and cope with pressure.

Employment will mainly commence in November and lasts until the end of March 2018. We also offer longer and shorter working periods. Working hours may be either part-time or full-time. Accommodation will be provided. A driving license is considered an advantage, but is not required.
