Skivarps Gästgivaregård in Skurup municipality, south of Skåne, Sweden, is looking for a knowledgeable, ambitious, loyal and creative chef for our kitchen. The inn is a family business owned and run by Jeanette & Johan Bohman since 2003. There are 16 hotel rooms, 2 dining rooms, wine cellar and outdoor dining. The business is seasonal and starts around Easter and until the end of November/December.
Gästgivaregården's kitchen is based on very Swedish traditional food but with a modern touch. We work with local ingredients as far as possible and if there is time, we grow herbs, spices and berries ourselves. We do not serve lunch, we are an evening restaurant. We also arrange parties, weddings, memorial services and lunches for pre-booked groups.
During the spring from Easter week, we are open Thursday - Saturday and during the summer every day. This is of course when your working hours will be, but as you understand, working hours vary during the season. There is an overnight room for staff.
Are you the chef we are looking for, you have experience of la carte kitchen and all kinds of cooking required in such a kitchen, have a sense of planning and do it, can handle allergens, can work independently as well as with other cooks/kitchen aid. You can work both in situations when we have a lot of guests but also when we have fewer guests.
