As a Buyer your role is based on sustained delivery of operational results, including supply assurance, quality, service and innovation, which are required to meet the business needs:
- Daily check to MRP requirements and order statuses to ensure delivery dates are achieved
- Updating Order delivery date to accurately reflect confirmed delivery date.
- Accurately and timely maintaining process and other contractual information in the system
- Active participation in team projects and process improvements
- Order processing, timely follow up of incoming material, delivery coordination with warehouse, co-ordination with A/c for payment issues
- Regular coordination with internal clients keeping them updated with status of pending orders
- Preparation of documents like pro forma invoice, order confirmation, order check list, certificate of origin, return of material, weekly & monthly reports
- Liaison with finance, sales, warehouse, logistics & other internal teams
- Other related tasks assigned from time to time
The ideal candidate should fulfill the following requirements:
- Fluent German and English communication skills
- Commercial education or relevant bachelor degree
- User skills in SAP (MM, PP, SD module)
- Proactive approach to problem solving and self-starter
- Solid communication skills, with ability to handle multiple requests
- Computer and data entry skills (Microsoft Office and email)
- Ability to work in multinational environment
