Business Analyst
For several long-term projects at the European Institutions in Brussels, Trasys International is looking for (a) Business Analyst(s) with strong knowledge of software development methodologies. As a Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:
- Analyze business processes and business needs;
- Propose product solutions and address identified business needs;
- Convert business requirements into product backlog;
- Manage product backlog (item sequence, feature breakdown, budget pipelines);
- Explain backlog items to the team;
- Maintain requirement documentation (use cases, process flows, data models);
- Organize and lead requirement and demo workshops;
- Perform acceptance testing of the complete work items;
- Provide support to the end users;
- Follow-up the UAT process for new releases;
- Organize and facilitate scrum meetings (backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives);
- Assist business units with product strategy and roadmap.

Profile
- You have a degree in Information Technology or equivalent by experience;
- You have depth knowledge of large organization administrative business processes;
- You have at least 8 years of experience in the field;
- You are analytical with good problem-solving skills;
- You are assertive and communicative, enabling you to work in team and network across the organization;
- You have strong capacity in preparing and writing reports;
- You have the natural capacity of giving high level presentations;
- You are able to participate in multi-lingual meetings with strong IT content;
- You are fluent in English.
Technical Skills
- You are an expert with business analysis tools (Enterprise Architect, Aris);
- You are familiar with modelling tools UML and/or BPMN;
- You have experience with project methodologies (e.g. RUP).
