Algorithms Engineer
WHO WE ARE
SWORD Health is a digital health startup founded by a mix of Engineers and Clinical Specialists that is disrupting the Healthcare industry through the development of an innovative system towards a more efficient and effective physical rehabilitation.
Selected by the European Commission as one of Europe’s most innovative companies and having recently raised 3M€ in foreign investment, SWORD Health is already providing rehabilitation services to patients in the US through partnerships with two major rehabilitation groups.
TO DO WHAT
- Develop new offline and real-time algorithms in order to analyze the patient rehabilitation data (motion analysis and sensor fusion);
- Work directly with our software team to integrate new algorithms into our current software solutions (mobile and web applications);
- Communicate directly with our development partners in order to guarantee a high quality product.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS
Extensive experience with Matlab, Python, R and/or other offline frameworks that allows computing datasets and statistical analysis;
Background in sensor fusion and crontrol theory;
Background in algorithms and/or signal processing;
Experience with 3D motion quantification algorithms and movement analysis (is a plus);
Experience with data patterns recognition and machine learning techniques (is a plus);
Experience with software development tools (versions control, project management) and the best programming practices;
A result oriented mindset and a highly motivated team player with a drive to disrupt;
Passion for developing novel and unique systems that have a direct impact on peoples' lives.
Natural leadership, winning personality and startup mentality.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
