Our client develops high performance, low power mixed-signal integrated circuits for automotive and portable application. Besides the analog front end the digital part of the Radio cores is a combination of peripherals, filters, and a DSP core. After the design, integration and verification phase the functionality is validated on silicon in our labs.
 

 

Job Description

 

In the Advanced Digital Modulation team the candidate is responsible for investigating, understanding and developing digital modulation algorithms. The day to day activities consist of:
• Design and development of COFDM based algorithms based on MatLab code
• Integration and testing of COFDM based algorithms within wireless
  digital-radio and/or wireless networking systems
• Updating and writing documentation of designed/developed system algorithms
• Investigation of problems, making improvements and/or changes on designed/developed system algorithms

The candidate will work in the field of digital radio broadcast systems and wireless networking systems with DAB, WiFi and WiMax as examples.
 


Requirements


• M.S./Ph.D. Some years of experience is a pre
Experience in Digital signal processing especially related to telecommunications
Some experience in advanced digital modulation design particularly with   Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiples (COFDM)-systems
• Affinity with software, hardware and radio technology
• Experience in the COFDM field is an advantage
• Good communication skills
