About Explore the North
Explore the North is an Arctic tourism and hospitality company founded in northern Sweden, now operating across both Swedish and Finnish Lapland. Our lodges are mainly located in the beautiful Tornedalen (Torne Valley) region — a unique cross-border area close to the Arctic Circle, where two cultures and breathtaking Arctic nature meet.
We create unforgettable experiences in the far north, offering activities such as dog sledding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, fishing, and, of course, the chance to witness the magical Northern Lights. Every adventure is designed to bring our guests closer to nature, local life, and the peaceful rhythm of the Arctic wilderness.
