Ready to experience Finnish summer? Open positions for 30 employees for strawberry picking in July 2024. We are a family business from Suonenjoki, North Savo, Finland, and we are looking for strawberry pickers for the 2024 harvest season, starting no earlier than the end of June. Work is available for a period of 3-4 weeks. We grow strawberries on open fields at all weathers. The work is done approximately 6-8 hours a day, six days a week. Compensation is based on the terms of the collective agreement of rural industries. We require employees to be at least 17 years old and have basic English language skills. Previous experience in the tasks is not necessary as employees will be trained for the tasks. The employer provides the necessary equipment for the job (e.g. rubber boots and rain gear). Bicycles are available for leisure use. All employees are provided accommodation on the farm in 4-person cottages at a rate of 3€ / workday, including electricity and water. Kitchen and bathroom facilities are shared. Accommodation is arranged in the same courtyard where the work is done.
