Specialist nurse in anesthesia

Kalmar is located along the beautiful southeast coast of Sweden which is very popular in the summer season due to its warm and sunny climate and location near the Baltic Sea.  Many Europeans have already made their permanent move to Kalmar County and are now working and living here. 

Region Kalmar County is the main health care provider in Kalmar County with approximately 7300 employees.  There are 3 hospitals, and 28 primary care centers that provides for the general population, as well as 18 public dental clinics. The Kalmar County hospital in Kalmar is the largest hospital in Kalmar County with approximately 2000 employees.

We are now looking for registered specialized nurse in anesthesia at the county Kalmar hospital.  As a nurse anasthesia, you are part of the surgical team around the patient. We assist all operating clinics, which means a large variety of operations and procedures and different types of anesthesia. We work with both emergency and elective operations. You also participate in emergency medical operations outside the operating room such as ambulance transport, emergency calls and trauma calls. 

As a nurse anesthesia, we want you to be flexible with a great drive and the ability to see the bigger picture. You are a great team player with a positive attitude. You are curious to learn and want to grow in your profession as a nurse anesthesist. Our motto is that the best interest of the patient always comes first.

Before moving to Sweden you recommend you to reach B2 level in the Swedish language. Your license as a nuirse needs to be recognized by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare. 

Your employment will start with an introduction period. We provide further language studies in Swedish to reach the C1 level. If the trial period will be proved satisfactory it will automatically turn into a permanent employment.   

All contracts follow local and national collective agreements. Salary are set individually depending on your qualification and experience.
