We are looking for the best and brightest minds in Automated Testing to join our Portable Navigation Devices (PND) Unit. The experience and future opportunities will include designing and applying automated tests using Espresso and Robotium.



As a member of the team, you are asked to deliver the following:

• Owning and delivering the sprint backlog according to definition of done;
• Develop and enhance automation test frameworks to support automated acceptance testing;
• Write and debug automated acceptance tests that validate user story functionality;
• Execute automated test suites and analyse test results
• Generate, utilize and improve key team-level agile metrics

What do we expect from you?

There is no set route to becoming an Automated Test Engineer at TomTom. But this is the kind of profile we have in mind for someone to be successful in this particular role:

• Proven experience in BDD and/or TDD using Java in a commercial environment;
• Ability to analyse software requirements (e.g. user stories, features, non-functional requirements) in order generate relevant test cases;
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, JavaScript, UNIX/shell scripting);
• Knowledge of embedded device or Android application test automation frameworks (e.g. Python-based frameworks, Robotium, Espresso, Cucumber, Calabash, Ranorex);
• Experience with Git and understanding of continuous integration, automated builds and build systems.
