The European Digital Jobs Fair 2015, marking a key milestone for the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs, is being organised in response to the mismatch between demand and supply of digital technology experts in Europe.
Companies across Europe are struggling to fill their ICT-related vacancies. This is due to the shortage of skilled workers. The European Digital Jobs Fair will help Europe address this mismatch, by enabling digitally skilled people from Spain to interview for jobs available in companies from Germany, the Netherlands and the UK, with a high demand of digital technology experts. The Job Fair will also showcase the efforts of the members of the Grand Coalition to increase the number of ICT professionals in Europe.
The European Digital Jobs Fair, taking place in Madrid on November 20, is organised by DIGITALEUROPE in collaboration with EURES Spain, Brainport and AMETIC under the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs, an initiative of the European Commission
The event is hosted and sponsored by Telefónica, and in partnership with Huawei, Actívate (a Google’s initiative), and Microsoft.

The European Digital Jobs Fair 2015 is a great opportunity for you to meet qualified jobseekers eager to work in the digital sector.
- If your company/organisation wishes to participate in our recruitment event, please register your attendance at www.europeanjobdays.eu, choose "Create Account" on top right side of the page and then chose "Register as an Exhibitor" before 30 September. We will promote your attendance through the webpage and from there we will spread information to the Spanish Public employment service and other stakeholders via LinkedIn groups, Facebook etc.
- To post your job offers you only need to send us the job descriptions of the vacancies you may offer. Do not forget to print your job advert and take them to the fair for distribution. If your company has a carrier site we’ll help you link it to www.europeanjobdays.eu – Please update your vacancies no later than 5 October.
- We will also promote you online by displaying information about your company, your vacancies and how attendees can contact you. Any material to illustrate what you could offer is more than welcome. EURES Advisers will assist you if needed.
- Free of charge event. Is your company located in Spain, Scotland, Germany or The Netherlands? In that case you are also welcome to the onsite event. The exhibitors from these regions will have dedicated booth at the fair with no fee. The organisation of the event will provide you with a stand for 2 persons / company. More information will be sent to you once you register.

Information for candidates
If you’re looking for a job, hold an ICT degree and experience and would like to explore new opportunities to boost your career, you are welcome to join this event and have the chance to meet employers in person. Don't forget to complete your registration to be able to participate and bring your CV!

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Visitors will be able to participate either in person in Madrid (onsite event) or via the internet (online event).
When registering on the event platform you have the possibility to choose either onsite or online participation. If you choose the onsite option, confirmation of your acceptance to attend the onsite event will be sent to you via email once we have verified that your skills match the employers’ requirements.
In the event you are not selected to attend the onsite event, you will still be able to participate in the online event.

Ya puede inscribirse en la Feria Europea de Empleo Digital. Los/as visitantes podrán participar bien en persona (evento onsite), en Madrid o a través de Internet (evento online).
Al registrarse en la plataforma tiene la posibilidad de solicitar las dos modalidades de participación, aunque para acudir al evento necesitará obtener una confirmación previa en su correo electrónico.
La participación online está siempre abierta para cualquier persona sin necesidad de confirmación.
