Software Architect

CTRL’s client is ACTUM. During last 19 years ACTUM undergone a rapid development to become what it is today. A successful company delivering data-driven customer experience. Today, you can work with ACTUM on demanding projects for Metro Cash & Carry, Olympus, Wüstenrot, Hills and other clients who have currently run projects. These are located not only in Prague but also in Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Olomouc, or Bern. The most important part in their efforts in the team and their priority is to only have smart and motivated people here. There are more than 110 people in ACTUM now but they still work as one team. ABOUT ACTUM’S .NET TEAM

.NET team consists of 16 developers and covers all roles necessary to deliver projects in good quality and in time. Whole team is highly motivated to learn new things, share knowledge among them to deliver not only the project but most importantly the value to the customer.

Within the team there are different roles:

• Software architects are responsible for the application architecture, code quality and overall project quality

• Senior developers are responsible for the knowledge sharing between team members and for helping developers and junior developers to improve their skills in both programing and soft skills

• Developers are responsible for programming itself and knowledge sharing between teams working on different projects

• Junior developers are responsible for the programming and they have time to improve their skills in all necessary areas

ACTUM is using latest Microsoft tools and technologies including Visual studio 2015, MSSQL 2014 and latest version of .NET framework. Products are based on the technologies by the market leaders including Sitecore, Telligent and Kentico and delivered to customers using agile methodologies such as Scrum and Disciplined Agile Delivery framework. Every project team consists of a senior developer, one or more developers and a software architect to make sure every team member has everything he/she needs for work and the product is delivered with success.

ABOUT THE POSITION – SOFTWARE ARCHITECT

As a company, they understand that continuous growth and understanding that delivering good product is impossible without great Software Architects. The role is important not only in development period but in the maintenance phase too, especially while analyzing change requests and keeping an eye on product quality and architecture. Focusing on quality is crucial during the whole lifetime of the product and in an agile approach, the importance of this role grows with the size of the project.

Requirements:

• 10 years experience in .NET development

• knowledge of design patterns

• knowledge of dependency injection and unit testing

• knowledge of C# language

• ability to write code reviews

• ability to defend and explain their decisions

• be communicative and proactive

• understand customer needs

• good level of English
