Kitchen porter

We are looking for Kitchen Porters to join our winning team at The Smugglers inn for our 2023 season.

The Smugglers Inn is situated in Southwest Ireland a mile from the village of Waterville.

This role is vital in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of high hygiene standards in the kitchen environment

This is a full-time role working 5 days over 7, including weekends.

Job requirements

• Have the ability to work in a busy pressurised environment
• To ensure that the kitchen area is clean and tidy at all times both during and after service
• To ensure the back of house and staff areas are kept clean and tidy
• To ensure the high standards of cleanliness are adhered to at all times in accordance with HACCP specifications
• Be flexible in relation to hours of work
• To participate fully in training provided by the company
• Assist The Chefs where required with basic food preparation, Training will be given

• Previous experience (But not essential)
• Good at communicating and taking direction
• Ability to learn quickly and positive attitude
• Team player
