About the Job as Head Waiter

You are a clear leader, solution-oriented, and skilled at inspiring, leading, and organizing the work among your colleagues. You are a social and outgoing person who enjoys collaborating with others to create a positive experience for our guests.
As a head waiter, you will meet our guests and coach your team. You will lead and allocate the work in the restaurant, and have the overall responsibility for ensuring that the restaurant operations run smoothly.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in the restaurant industry and a genuine interest in both service and hospitality as well as food and beverages.
About Romme Alpin
Romme Alpin is located 13 km outside of Borlänge in southern Dalarna and is Sweden’s largest ski resort outside the mountain regions. With 33 slopes and 13 lifts, it offers skiing like in the mountains but at a close distance.
Romme Alpin’s Ski Lodge is currently the largest in Dalarna with 700 beds. At the heart of our resort are several of our restaurants, such as the large Lodge Restaurant with space for 700 skiing guests. We also have additional restaurants located at the top of Snöberget and Solklinten.
About Our Guests
Romme Alpin’s guests all have a great interest in skiing and high expectations for being well taken care of. They want to stay in comfortable accommodations and enjoy excellent food and drink.
It is our job to provide them with as wonderful an experience at the hotel and in the various restaurants as they will have on the slopes.
About Our Restaurants
At the Lodge Restaurant, with its high ceilings and large open fireplace, our guests can eat, relax, or enjoy drinks. À la carte with table service is available at lunch, or our very popular evening buffet with a different theme each night.
The Summit Cabin offers à la carte service and a panoramic view. In addition, there is a café, two bars, and an outdoor grill on the terrace. On a few evenings a week, we also serve our popular fondue.

About Seasonal Positions
The positions are seasonal/hourly employments and may include combination jobs with other departments. Salary according to the agreement with the Hotel and Restaurant Union.
