Front-End (REACT) Developer - Digital Financial Services (m/f)

KPMG Luxembourg is seeking a passionate Front-End Developer (m/f) willing to make a difference to our clients, people and communities.

As a member of the Technology & Data team, you will occupy a key role in the creation to tomorrow’s B2B financial services and you will make a difference thanks to the technical quality of the software implemented.

The role and responsibilities:

• Implement gorgeous front-ends using state of the art technologies (React, FabricUI, SASS…);

• Challenge the status quo and propose screens that are always easier to use;

• Work hand in hand with internal end users and experts to fine tune the user interfaces, and thus learning about the investment funds industry;

• Be force of proposition to improve our technology stack on a regular basis

• Coach junior developers;

• Write technical documentation;

• Work in a multidisciplinary/multicultural environment with highly skilled colleagues.

The perfect candidate:

• Holds a BSs/MSc in Computer science, Math or equivalent;

• Has at least 7 years of professional experience;

• Is familiar with concepts of TDD, Functional Programming and Object Oriented Design Patterns;

• Has strong skills in programming in some or most of these language and technologies: JavaScript, ReactJS, FabricUI, CSS, SASS, Docker, Git, CI, etc;

• Is fluent in English. Any other language considered as clear assets;

• Is a fast learner;

• Displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude;

• Likes teamwork, is passionate about his work and code quality.
