We are looking for the best and brightest minds in Android Development to join our Portable Navigation Device Unit. The experience and future opportunities will include developing software features for future releases of our navigation products. You will also ensure the successful implementation of new product features and client device software. You will be an active member of our B2B development scrum team working according to SAFe agile principals.



As a member of the team, you are asked to deliver the following:

• Design, develop and test features and client software within the agile team;
• Design and develop unit and story acceptance tests;
• Participate in and contribute to technical discussion about future feature and architectural developments;
• Coach other team members where required;
• Stay in touch with other teams and know the latest developments.

What do we expect from you?

There is no set route becoming an Android Developer at TomTom. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

• Minimum 4 years software development experience in a commercial environment;
• At least 3 years development experience on Android (JAVA) in a professional capacity;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks: driven, creative, and able to work autonomously;
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English;
• Sufficient knowledge of C++ and experience of working in Agile teams a bonus.
