Responsibilities:
• Work with Operation Teams and prioritise field requirements to ensure they are aligned with project needs.
• Operate and maintain computerised databases and systems to ensure that administration requirements for the import and export of material/assets and reports are accurate.
• Ensure materials & assets required are picked and available for field staff each day
• Ensure the stores and yard is maintained in a professional manner.
• Deliver materials and assets to the field
• Request, compare and evaluate quotes from suppliers.
• Complete stock takes per routine
• Track assets & materials
• Source and order suitable materials & assets where required
• Build and maintain good supplier relationships to achieve the best prices and supply arrangements.
• Prepare reports as requested.
• Able to handle routine client, internal & supplier calls and emails and appropriately escalate complex issues to the next level of management.
• Manage waste collections.
• Support the fleet manager and coordinate the company’s commercial fleet.
• Continuous improvement within the role; simplifying processes and operations to maximise efficiencies.
• Any other ad-hoc duties related.
Skills required:
• Ability to work to project deadlines
• Ability to work with Operations team to understand future pipelines and ensure no risks to projects due to material procurement delays.
• Well organised, self motivated person with the ability to operate on their own initiative & part of a team
• 1+ years of relevant work experience in a stores environment
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals from all levels of the organisation and a variety of external suppliers
• PC literate
• Must be meticulous- paying excellent attention to detail
• Full drivers licence
• Forklift tickets
Advantageous:
• Previous telecommunications industry experience would be an advantage
• Trailer license
• Truck license
