System Engineer Hydraulic

Revoltr is looking for a solutions oriented System Engineer Hydraulic with the ability to work both independently and a team. 



Location: Bergen (Hybrid)





RESPONSIBILITIES

• Multi discipline equipment and system development and upgrades, and reliability monitoring.
• Assist in operation support, system testing, maintenance, procurement, and training.
• Act as primary technical interface with clients, as required and to lead 3rd party outsourced work and follow up on production and documentation.
• Follow engineering standards and processes
• Contribute in engineering meetings and multidiscipline reviews
• Make necessary engineering calculations to support product selection/recommendation
• Develop technical documentation, e.g. specifications, procedures, schematics, diagrams, drawings, etc.
• Provide engineering support during fabrication, assembly and testing, either at 3rd party or EDR
• Perform documentation review and approval
• Incremental development of the asset fleet

QUALIFICATIONS  

• Minimum Bachelor of Science within Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Subsea Technology or other relevant education
• Preferred minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience within hydraulic components and hydraulic control systems
• Knowledge of relevant offshore and subsea regulations and standards
• Preferred overall multi discipline competence within Electro, Control System and Instrumentation
• Preferred experience within Fluid dynamics
• Preferred experience within 3-D modelling and 2-D drawing
• Preferred overall understanding of drilling process and subsea equipment
• Preferred well control understanding
• Master English, both verbal and written
