Subsitute teachers and assistants (Norwgian speakers only)
Throughout the 2024-25 school year, the school department in Rana Municipality will need substitute teachers and assistants for short- and long-term assignments.
You can apply throughout the school year, and your application will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. If you wish to exclude certain schools, you can specify this in your application.
Responsibilities
• Lead teaching in the absence of the teacher for grades 1-10
• Assist in classrooms or support individual students
• Experience in teaching or working with children and youth is an advantage
• Approved teacher education will be prioritized
• Must have sufficient proficiency in spoken and written Norwegian to perform the job responsibly
• Police certificate of conduct required upon employment, in accordance with the Education Act § 17-11
Education completed outside of Norway must be approved by the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir).

• You can remain calm in challenging situations
• You are responsible and able to work both independently and as part of a team
