Software Requirement Engineer

As Software Requirement Engineer, within the SW Team, you will be assigned in staffing to a team responsible of developing a specific embedded software project, based on an AUTOSAR architecture, for an automotive ECU. Will be in charge to define and manage the SW requirements, by analyzing the system functional requirements and clarifying the requirements with both the OEM customer and the internal departments, with the aim of finalizing the MSY functional and not functional software specification.

A day in life:

• SW Requirement Specification
• Interface with customer and internal department for requirements clarification
• Evaluate project related CR, both internal and OEM
• Support Project management for effort estimation, change control etc.
• Take part to activities proactively and energetically, without waiting for external inputs                                                             

Must have:

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
• 3+ years of hands on experience in similar role in automotive company
• Good knowledge of C language, V-Model and embedded systems
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Basic SW configuration, USD protocol and Cyber Security/Functional Safety
• Good knowledge of ISO26262 (Functional Safety) normative for the parte-6 and part-8 scope
• Preferred previous experience as a SW developer
• Available for short business trip in Italy and abroad
• Experience in tracking activities with company provided tool (e.g. Jira)
• Knowledge of most important microcontrollers’ architectures and of the relevant development toolchains
• Good relationship attitude versus the colleagues and the customer
