WHO WE ARE

We are a startup founded by a mix of engineers and designers with a passion for developing products that have a direct impact on people’s lives. In 2014 we introduced Findster, the first GPS tracker without monthly fees. The project was successfully funded on Indiegogo, with more than 1200 backers from over 50 countries. Since then, we’ve come a long way - the latest version of our pet tracker, Findster Duo+, is currently being used daily in over 80 countries.

Besides being part of the European Space Agency (ESA) incubation program, since 2016 we’re also alumni of HAX - the world’s #1 Hardware Startup accelerator.

WE WANT SOMEONE TO

  • - Help develop the testing architecture and framework to be used by the product development team.
  • - Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test suitcases.
  • - Design and build unit and integration tests, and manual test plans for feature testing and regression

testing (Web, iOS and Android).

  • - Execute automated and manual test processes.
  • - Collect and analyze the data and produce thorough test reports.

Work with the development team to solve defects.

  • - Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
  • - Participate in day-to-day software development workflows on an Agile based development team.
  • - Liaise with internal teams (developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
  • - Help design and improve quality assurance processes within the company.
  • - Ensure the quality of the final product.



 

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS

  • - A very methodical, rigorous and thorough approach to Quality Assurance.
  • - Ability to correctly estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • - Familiarity with Git and Agile software development process.
  • - Rigorous regression testing methodologies to thoroughly confirm defect resolution.
  • - Good interpersonal skills to be able to work together with the development team as well as the customer support team.



 

NICE TO HAVE

  • - Experience in a consumer electronics company
  • - Experience in developing and executing automation test tools for Android and iOS applications.
