Rathmullan House situated on the shores of Lough Swilly are looking for an outgoing, friendly and motivated individual to join our reservation/ reception team
We are currently seeking a career minded individual who shares our interests in delivering the highest in customer services to join our front of house team as a hotel receptionist.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in a front of house role, excellent attention to detail, will have a courteous and professional manner, excellent phone manner and communication skills, be friendly, guest focused with a positive attitude, fluent English written and spoken.
You will have the ability to work well in a team, be able to multi task and deal with a busy reception desk and have excellent organisational skills, whilst being sales driven.
Proficient computer skills are required; along with experience in a with guest reservation systems.
The role can be a full time or part time position on a rostered basis, and involves working shifts, the candidate must be available to work morning, evenings and weekends.
Main duties
Meeting our guests on arrival to the hotel with a friendly can do attitude and be the main point of contact during their stay and advising them on activities in the area and give directions to local beauty spots
Dealing with guest requests/queries in a polite and attentive manner
To ensure that any additional requirements for guests are offered, i.e. dinner reservations, porter etc.
Answering the telephone, replying to emails taking reservations for rooms and dinner,
Responsible for administration within all departments of the hotel
To check out guests effectively as needed, ensuring all details are correct
