Telespazio Spa is looking for a Program Manager. The candidate will operate in an international business context, and it is expected to directly interact with Suppliers and Customers as well as to cooperate with internal teams.
Tasks & Accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Creation and management of Product/Service documentation
- Management of assigned Projects targets and milestones, from contract signature to service delivery, ensuring consistency with Quality, Timing and Cost and in accordance with the Company policies and procedures
- Development and management of detailed project schedule and work plan (i.e. GANTT), project progress monitoring, allocation of resources in the field, assignment of tasks in coordination with the PMO
- Execution and Control of the project activities and accountability for the relevant cost and schedule KPI’s (EBIT/Revenues); support the yearly preparation of Company budgets
- Significant contribution to Bid/no Bid proposal phase
- Contribution to preparation and negotiation of Contracts/Amendments/MoU
- Contribution to preparation of offer, supporting Sales department during the design of the solution for delivery requirements. Collaboration with the sales account teams.
- Participation in RFI/RFP/RFQ responses providing scope and cost estimates
- Coordination of workstreams across various organizations both external (the Customer, third party providers) and internal (sales, engineering, operations, legal, logistics)
- Coordination of subcontractors; management of contracts with vendors, suppliers and partners by assigning/tracking tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Identification and management of the project risks in accordance with the Company policies and procedures, documenting main strong arising problems during the project life cycle and suggesting mitigation techniques as well as identifying contingency plans
- Periodic reporting to upper management
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experiences:
- University degree in Telecommunications, Aerospace, Engineering or with similar knowledge matured during the professional experience
- Experience of at least 3 years in PM role in TLC and Aerospace sectors (Skilled Junior-Expert)
- Excellent project management skills; demonstrated knowledge of project life cycle phases
- Efficient organization and coordination of multiple and remotely located teams
