In Skælskør, we have our own production facilities, where we, among other things, custom manufacture to specific measurements and cut, bend, and deliver all types of profiles and coverings.

In the position as production manager, you will have a challenging and exciting daily routine with great freedom to shape your tasks. On a daily basis, you will report to the Director of Region East, and together, you will be responsible for the daily operation and further development of the production in Region East.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Direct personnel responsibility for production employees, especially focusing on safety, well-being, and competencies.
  • Continuously ensure that the production's machine capacity is utilized optimally by trained personnel. In collaboration with the Production Planner, ensure ongoing maintenance, possibly including LEAN optimization, and compliance with statutory inspections of tools/machines.
  • Ensure that all purchases are continuously optimized in terms of price, quality, and delivery capacity in cooperation with the warehouse and purchasing functions.
  • Ensure that the strategic goals for production are met.
  • Responsible for the overall financial goals of production (operational budget).
  • Continuously ensure that production capacity is aligned with demand, so that profitability is kept optimal at all times.
  • Be proactive in acquiring new direct customers for production, both within and outside the insulation industry.
  • Coordination and execution of sales and marketing activities within the business areas of production, including assisting with project planning and 2D/3D drawings.
  • Participate in contract negotiations when entering into larger contracts according to applicable authorization rules.
  • About you
  • You have experience from similar positions, preferably within production supplying to the industry. You thrive in a busy environment with skilled colleagues.
  • You possess both commercial and technical competencies and have a broad network in the industry.
  • You may be educated as a mechanical engineer, civil engineer, production technologist, marine engineer, or similar. Experience with AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office suite is an advantage.
  • You should have leadership experience.
