Job ID: 220201 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: Full-time For our Project Management department within Siemens Wind Power Offshore (WP OF) we are looking for a Portfolio Risk Manager to handle the identification, analysis and mitigation of risks on the portfolio level within WP OF as well as ensure the development and implementation of the corporate portfolio risk methodology within WP OF. Furthermore the Portfolio Risk Manager will act as preparation lead on the weekly project steering committee meeting with Senior Management. What are my responsibilities? As a Portfolio Risk Manager you primary tasks will be to: Facilitate risk identification on portfolio level with adequate methods, by ensuring availability of a portfolio risk register and risk descriptions and by developing a risk awareness culture in the WP OF organization Ensure proper action on identified risks, including prioritization of risks, delegation of ownership, execution of structural assessments, communication of risk situation towards project teams as well as regular reporting on risks and mitigation status to the management team. Develop and improve the risk identification process by analyzing risk patterns, implementing new measures for project and portfolio risk management, ensuring proper training to relevant parties and participating in the global Wind Power risk management community. Ensure timely and high-quality project preparation for Project SteeCo, supporting with consolidating the SteeCo material, writing of MoM's and following up on action items with all relevant parties as well as developing SteeCo processes (e.g. by conducting SteeCo process related knowledge/experience sharing sessions with WP OF functions and project teams). What do I need to qualify for this job? You have minimum 3 years of work experience in different areas of project business, e.g. as project core team member or equivalent. Furthermore you have experience with risk management in a larger project driven Corporation Additional experience in one of the following fields: process management, quality management, audit, RIC, finance and accounting will be deemed beneficial You possess an appropriate domain knowhow (industry & technology) and are able to act as consultant and facilitator in complex situations You can demonstrate excellent English skills, both orally and in writing as well as profound networking and communication skills across organizational levels and cultures.
