Lean Manufacturing Engineer

As a Lean Manufacturing Engineer at Melexis, you will:

▪ Lead improvement projects to increase productivity, maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction; this includes studying, organizing and leading

▪ Transfer and/or releases of products testing on local manufacturing sites

▪ Process flow and test time improvements

▪ Ensure standardization and alignment of product flows and manufacturing methods (eg. retest process alignment on all manufacturing sites)

▪ Support deployment of local corrective actions across all manufacturing sites

▪ Analyse, define and manage problem-solving process in manufacturing set-up issue triage and resolution, in order to come to lean production flow

▪ Support releases of new products in manufacturing

▪ Support development and process team in reaching error-proof test solutions in manufacturing for final product release

▪ Act as 5S and lean champion through developing and conducting training to build capabilities on manufacturing processes and lean Six Sigma approach (including 5S method)

PROFILE:

▪ Master Degree in Engineering

▪ Successful experience in Production Engineering or Product Quality Assurance or Test engineering

▪ Genuine interest in Lean / 6 Sigma / Kaizen and continuous improvement mindset coupled with the applied knowledge of these methods

▪ Working experience in integrating different cultural background

▪ Hands-on mentality

▪ Pragmatic & Strategic thinking ability

▪ Effective Communication skills in English
