We are experiencing rapid growth and are investing massively in development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for wireless reading of consumption meters for electricity, water and heat. In the new position as Metrology and Flow Engineer, you will become a part of Kamstrup’s quality department and you will be referring to our Head of Flow Laboratory.



In the quality department, you will play an important role in the metrology team, which is responsible for the accuracy of our products and who works together across the organisation to optimise equipment for flow metering. You will find yourself in a creative and professional environment and be working closely with colleagues from both the production and technology departments.

Metrology and Flow Engineer with a focus on quality

In the newly created position, you will, among others, be responsible for:

That our flowbenches live up to regulatory and internal requirements 

• Continuous control of our metrological performance through statistical analyses and calibration
• Project management for approval of metering equipment and accredited production processes 
• Systematic analysis, problem solving and development of new complex test systems
• Approval of new processes and products based on systematic analysis of robustness and reliability
• Streamlining the process for calibration tasks and processes. 

You will function as metrology and flow specialist in the operation of the flow lab and in projects with different departments within Kamstrup (such as Production, Development and Product Management). Furthermore, you will contribute to maintaining and expanding our expertise in building and operating flowbenches through both our own experiences within Kamstrup and exchanging experiences with other laboratories.

You grow with challenges and have great attention to detail. In addition, you possess good cooperation skills and are capable of communicating and cooperating with different people and departments.



You have a professional background in engineering or similar. Ideally, you have experience with metering techniques and metrology, where you have acquired skills in solving different technical challenges. It is required that you both speak and write English. It is furthermore an advantage if you know Danish or are willing to learn Danish on a basic level.
