We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer for a high-impact, strategic project in the travel and tech industry.
You’ll be part of an innovative, international environment, working on a project with real-world impact. Join a team of passionate experts in a fast-paced, agile setting.
Your key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend applications using Java.
- Build microservices architectures with Spring Boot, and ideally Quarkus.
- Take part in technical decision-making, implement best coding practices, ensure code quality, and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate on the deployment and integration of applications in Cloud environments (Azure).
- Work closely with product teams, DevOps engineers, and other developers in an Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban).
- Stay up to date with tech trends and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Your profile:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development (excluding internships and apprenticeships).
- Strong command of Spring Boot.
- Experience with or exposure to Quarkus is a strong plus.
- Good understanding of Cloud platforms, ideally Azure.
- Strong attention to performance, scalability, and software quality.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player.
- Professional-level English (spoken and written) – international work environment.
