Inventory Controller - 's Heerenberg
Purpose of the function:
The Inventory Controller is responsible for inventory accuracy and
efficiency and quality within the warehouse operation. He develops procedures, processes, and reports and makes improvement proposals for further optimization. Taking into account the quality and environmental aspects that are policy-oriented within the organisation.
Jobdistription:
Daily monitoring of the stock available;
Planning and performing periodic stock analyses;
Administering the incoming and outgoing shipments;
Initiate and export 'cycle' and wall-to-wall counts;
Continuously working on optimal locations, location order and location management based on consumption, processing and product characteristics;
Performance / quality measurements warehouse;
Keeping track of the schedule;
Prepare reports to report data to management
Evaluating responsibilities:
Takes responsibility for the correctness and completeness of the stock present;
Is responsible for reporting irregularities to management.
Contacts
Internal: directly with Operations and Warehouse, indirectly with other departments.
External: industry and professional colleagues, logistics service providers and customers.
Additional tasks
Supporting work in the operational departments, provides periodic business reports
for the purpose of the pipeline;
Manages the quality and quantity of the work carried out.
Competences
Work and thinking level
(Logistics) training at HBO level
Good communication skills in word and writings in English possibly supplemented by another language, a benefit
Experience in using MS Office package (Excel/ Word) and TMS/ ERP (SAP) systems
Being able to work independently in a team
Areas of expertise
Driven person at HBO level, affinity with and knowledge of inventory management.
Demonstrable experience in a similar position Personal competence
