We currently have Healthcare Assistant opportunities in Galway City & County. The Healthcare Assistant will be providing care for clients in their own homes. You will be supported by our Clinical Governance & Management Team in our Galway City office. This important role will include you driving from house to house during your shift as home care is delivered in each persons home. Job satisfaction in this role is high as the Healthcare Assistant is helping people as well as earning a living.

Zahteve za delovno mesto

Healthcare assistants must have obtained the QQI Level 5 Modules "Care of the Older Person" and "Care Skills/Healthcare Support" (or equivalent) or have a minimum of one-years experience caring for others and be in a position to undertake the two modules outlined above during your employment which will be supported by the company.

Essential qualities of a Healthcare assistant include having a genuine concern for others, having the ability to demonstrate kindness, compassion and patience.
Applicants must pass our full Recruitment and Training plan including Garda vetting and/or International Police Clearance if you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months.
