Head of Digital for Autobutler

Autobutler is looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Digital candidate with broad and hands-on competencies in Owned, Earned and Paid digital media to secure the optimal use of the digital marketing mix.

Autobutler is a rapidly growing Danish online start-up, with an ambitious and energetic company culture created by passionate ‘Butlers’. By collaborating with 1000s of garages, Autobutler provides car owners with online offers on high quality car repairs, maintenance etc. As an innovative and expanding company the working environment is characterized as dynamic and vibrant where people love what they do.

The company has grown rapidly and successfully across Denmark and Sweden, and has just become the largest of its kind in Germany with eBay Motors as an official collaborator, and have expanded into the UK recently. Autobutler has received VC-funding from Swedish based Creandum (Investors in Spotify, iZettle etc.), and recently from one of Europe’s largest and most successful VC’s, Index Ventures (Investors in Skype, Dropbox, Facebook, Just-Eat etc.).

Autobutler has won numerous prizes within the Danish start-up and online business scene, lastly the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur award ‘Start-up of the year’. To strengthen the marketing team and meet the companies digital ambitions Autobutler is now looking for a results-oriented Head of Digital who can help to lift and optimize the company's digital efforts.



The position

As Autobutler’s new Head of Digital you will be responsible for development, planning, implementation and orchestrating of digital campaigns and projects in all digital media channels. As the new Head of Digital at Autobutler you should have the experience to develop fact-based digital recommendations in regards to digital branding and campaigning, ensuring a high degree of efficiency, quality and consistency in digital initiatives across platforms and segments. You should increase Autobutlers digital marketing effectiveness, by decreasing CPA levels and improving the digital marketing mix and conversion rates across countries. It will be your responsibility to ensure continues development of digital go-to-market strategies and communication efforts – including proactive identification of new digital communication possibilities and campaign initiatives. Your responsibility will be to follow and understand the essential business goals and insights that Autobutler possesses and translate these into relevant digital KPI’s and effective digital activation strategies in both Own, Earned and Paid media. You will ensure KPI tracking initiatives in order to track and optimize digital conversion rates in all campaigns and digital channels.



A Head of Digital at Autobutler has a hands-on approach and masters the detail with high executing competencies. You will independently engage in the execution and project scoping of a wide variety of digital campaigns within both Owned, Earned and Paid digital channels (autobutler.xx, Affiliate Marketing Opportunities, Social Media Platforms, Digital Webinars, Mobile, E-mail / Newletters, PPC / SEM, SEO, banners, etc.). Furthermore, you will be collaborating with other departments across the company to gather information as well as driving the content development for these activities. You should also be able to provide guidance within the areas of integration of digital instruments in cross-media marketing campaigns, unifying digital channel messages across campaign as well as providing consistency of visual identity in all digital channels.



Your profile



As Head of Digital for Autobutler your education is not of superior importance as long as you have at least approx. 5 years hands-on experience and can present an excellent track record of driving and executing effective digital marketing campaigns, preferably both from the agency and company side. It is furthermore expected that you have extensive project management experience. Additionally, you should be able to optimize digital channels via data exploration and analytics and you ideally have leadership and People Management experience.



Besides excellent execution capabilities you are digital by heart and you have a strong understanding of the various digital channels and you can execute and develop campaigns for a diverse set of digital audiences across different disciplines. The position demands good ‘team player’ skills, but at the same time the ability to take the lead of projects and campaigns. You take a holistic approach to your work tasks and succeed in bringing different ideas and interests together. Your responds to complex problems are quick and simple solutions, which maximizes you and your co-workers efficiency. As a person you are flexible and don’t mind working under pressure. You have bags of energy and confidence and are self-motivated, structured and organized. At the same time you are able to adapt quickly and think on your feet, and you can furthermore picture yourself working in a vibrant and highly dynamic environment where the emphasis is on independence and accountability.

As Autobutler’s new Head of Digital you will report directly to Partner & CMO, Peter Michael Oxholm Zigler.
