Bon Marine was founded in 1990 in Varna and for 30 years became one of the leaders in the Bulgarian shipping industry sector. Its activity includes ship agency, freight forwarding, chartering, logistics of infrastructure projects on and offshore handled by company’s’ own office network in Varna, Sofia, Burgas and Plovdiv.
Due to the company expansion, Bon Marine Ltd is currently looking to employ Head of Air Department.
Requirements:
- Education: University degree - Transport and Logistics; Economics; Sales & Marketing;
- Sales experience;
- Experience in the field of air freight is a must;
- Fluent English;
- Computer literacy - excellent command of Windows, MS Office, Internet;
- Active and experienced driver.

Main job obligations:
· Develop a medium to long-term strategy that delivers a best-in-class logistics operations / solutions;
· Create tools for market analysis, making sure that our vendor services and costs are competitive and keeping team members informed for latest developments;
· Work with existing and identify potential new customers by sending presentations, prepare bids, conduct meetings;
· Procure freight, identify transportation requirements, handle negotiations and select the carrier;
· Plan, schedule and route vendor pickups;
· Negotiate prices and conditions of transport with contractors in order to achieve the most favorable conditions for the organization;
· Review costs and profitability on regular basis;
· Audit freight payment process for accuracy and timeliness;
· Participate in setting marketing objectives, prepare reports and explain financial performance related to managed freight;
· Strive to establish long-term business contacts with clients;
