Functional Safety Engineer

As part of the development of our entity Abylsen Italy, specialized in Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant), Energy and IT, we are looking for a Functional Safety Engineer – Automotive field to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects.

What is the challenge?

ACTIVITY :

• Employee’s awareness of their impact on product quality and the importance of their activities in achieving, maintaining, and improving quality, including customer requirements and the risks involved for the customer with non-conforming product.
• FMEDA analysis for regional programs
• FTA modeling for regional programs
• Customer spec reviews for regional programs: provide expert review and RCM analysis for regional pursuits
• Safety owned calibration support for regional programs: thorough understanding of processes, provide training and guidance to regional safety engineers
• Safety owned calibrations responsibility for bench level verification: own/maintain test bench, execute verification on regional programs
• Core safety knowledge expertise
• Application level functional safety engineering
• Participate in maintenance of IATF 16949 standards
• Participate in meeting with customers

• Engineer degree, electronics or similar specialization
• Min. 2 years experience in the similar position
• Good experience with circuit design
• Good experience in the analysis and simulation of bus structures CAN/FlexRay
• Good experience with the AUTOSAR architecture
• Good experience with Synergy wersion control software, Mathworks Embedded Coder
• Good experience with formal configuration management tools
• Good English
• Good knowledge of APQP/PPAP
• Very good DFMEA or PFMEA or DFMDA or DRBFM knowledge
• Good familiarity with electronic assembly processes
• Good familiarity with maturity models such as A-SPICE or CMMI
• Good familiarity with analysis tools such as DOORS
• Good familiarity with product failure risk management tools
• Basic experience with Vector products (CANoe, CANApe, Vector VT)
• Basic understanding of C code
• Basic programming and simulation skills with Matlab/Simulink
• Basic knowledge of six sigma methodolodgy or equivalent
• Good knowledge of IATF 16949
• Very good CSR knowlege in job area
