Main responsabilities You are resonsible for the automation techniques and technologies for the optimalisation project. Depending on the timing and workload, you are responsible for one (or more) automation aspects. You have your own measuring - and control projects on the BASF site so you will have to spend a lot of time deliberating with clients, asset - and process managers, foremans, operators and your colleagues of the engineering department. You're responsible for external employees of partner companies. You work as a consultant for the internal customer and have 'project management responsibilities'; having the intake conversations, conceptualize the ideas, estimating the costs, supplier choice, implementation of the concepts, follow-up and finetuning. You discuss technical matters with your colleagues and also within competence centers in the BASF group. You are constantly searching for relevant trainings about new, relevant systems and applications.
