In ALTEN Spain we are recruiting now engineers to join our different projects in Alten´s European offices. We believe that if you fit Alten´s profile, speak fluent English and you are open to gaining international experience, we can help you to find a suitable international position.

For our clients based in Belgium and Spain we are looking for Development Engineer. Your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Functional reporting  to Product Development Leader
  • Hierarchical reporting to Team Leader Product Line Center Console 
  • Be responsible for selected subassemblies, in particular inhouse production parts 
  • Drive product performance convergence on his perimeter with respect to geometry and function
  • Request measurement reports for parts and assemblies from the Geometry Lab
  • Plan and conduct testing of parts with the testing lab
  • Define required changes based on measurement and testing reports
  • Mockup the changes physically on parts and verify the improvement of the condition, repeating tests / measurements
  • Define Design / CAD Changes with the Senior Product Design Engineer
  • Track their implementation at the toolmaker
  • Participate and guide the injection trials at toolmakers, suppliers and plants
  • Verify the conformity of the injected parts
  • Make and update technical documentation (BOM, Tool list, RFQ for buy out parts, FMEA, ECR)

  Requirements: 

-Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering related studies

-2 years or more of experience in described activities

-High level of English

-Experience in automotive sector would be a great plus
