The development team supports Jan De Nul's various challenging business processes. Through purchased and in-house developed software, we respond to the company's needs. We are looking for a .Net Developer to further develop the business software support for the central services, sites and vessels, together with our team of Analysts and Developers.
Your tasks and responsibilities are:
- Translating and understanding the supplied specifications
- Providing constructive feedback regarding the specifications
- Writing of structured and testable codes
- Using existing class libraries and useful comments
- Respecting design, guidelines and conventions
- Interpreting analyses on the basis of modelling languages
- Developing knowledge of the business domain and new technologies
- Providing technical support for the applications
Profile:
You are passionate about development and you have a bachelor's degree in an information technology programme (or equivalent through experience). You have knowledge of .NET WinForms applications and WCF web services, as well as SQL and stored procedures. Knowledge of offline applications, data synchronisation, scripting (VB Script, powershell, ...), Crystal Reports and architectural principles such as SOA is a plus. You are able to interpret analyses made with modelling languages such as UML. You will be employed in our office in Aalst.
