Overview of role:
Gaeltec Utilities are seeking a Designer for FFTH to work on the Telecoms Department. We are working on the national broadband, plan to deploy fibre broadband network across Ireland. We are looking for an individual who is willing to travel to multiple locations, company transportation provided from base location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce as-built Fibre Networks Design from ArCGIS platform;
- Ensuring technical feasibility of the designs and clarity with the client;
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
- Follow strategies defined for the contract or programme;
- Responsible to Record all data on ARCGIS Platform Online;
- Perform As-Builts and prepare all the needed paperwork for handovers;
- Liaise with all stakeholders within the Project, collect and prepare all the information needed to complete the records.
Proven work experience as a Designer FTTH or similar role
· Proficiency in QGIS and ARCGIS, Office 365
· Professional attitude and appearance
· Solid written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
· Excellent organizational skills
· Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
