For the summer season, we are looking for a Cook to join our strong team. We are a cafe and lunch place for tourists who visit Briksdalen and the glacier. We serve both hot and cold food an beverages.
There are approx 400 seats divided between cafe and restaurant.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for preparation of all restaurant foods, hot and cold and pays attention to detail with plate presentation.
Maintain solid knowledge of all food products, sanitation standards, and all policies/ procedures and is able to skillfully apply culinary techniques.
Working as a team and effectively communicating with management, and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by members, guests and or associates.
Other duties as assigned.
EXPECTATIONS:
- Must know a Scandinavian language, as well as English. If you can speak Spanish it is also an advantage.
- Vocational certificate as a cook and realated experience in catering or tourism.
- You must be structured and work independently, but also in a team.
- Must be able to work weekends.
