For our System Control Department in R&D at our global engineering head office in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a Condition Monitoring Chief Engineer. The department is responsible for delivering control features solutions on system level, from requirement specification to product validation.

What are my responsibilities? · You will be overall responsible for the condition monitoring systems on all the four Siemens wind turbine platforms · You will insure integrity of the condition monitoring system in existing and new turbines, across the physical and organizational modules · You develop and drive the technology roadmap for condition monitoring systems, and ensure Siemens Wind Power remains to have state of the art condition monitoring systems · You establish ownership of operational issues in the organization · You will be interfacing to a large part of the R&D organization and have a close cooperation with the senior project managers heading the large wind turbine development projects

What do I need to qualify for this job? ·

You have a degree in Electrical Engineering · You have minimum 5 years of relevant work experience within condition monitoring system. Experience with wind turbine development will be an advantage · You are proactive and structured and you have a holistic mindset and strong analytic skills · You have a result-oriented approach to your work and are capable of keeping a sense of perspective during hectic situations · You thrive in a complex and international organization · You possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
