Category Specialist – Maintenance, Transports, Facility Services (MRO)

Your mission:

Rovensa is looking for a Category Specialist - Maintenance, Transports, Facility Services, for its offices in Lisbon, that is driven by the ambition to deliver a world-class service and support our business partners, delivering a service of great value.

For its area of responsibility, it must ensure the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations), transports contracts and facilities Services management in accordance with the customer needs, in line with the risk management policy and ensuring the updating of information on suppliers (contract management) and markets, as well as providing the best solution to the customer, regarding quality and costs.

Key tasks and Activities:

• Ensure the Group's Maintenance, Transports and Facilities Services management at a global level;
• Goods and Equipment: tooling (manual and automatic), screws, consumables, repair and spare parts, engines, filters, industrial equipment, and others;
• Manage and negotiate several industrial services contracts, like surveillance contracts, transports with trucking companies, forklift management (acquisition, renovation, and maintenance), overhead cranes, electricity, cleaning, gardening, among others;
• Articulate with customer areas (Industrial and BU) in the various steps of the acquisition process;
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in SAP ERP, for products and services that are used in the maintenance and repair of the facilities and its associated equipment’s;
• Support facility personnel with immediate needs;
• Prepare market consultations (RFP and RFQ), bids, comparative maps, negotiate the best solutions in terms of cost including negotiation of prices, delivery terms and conditions and payment terms to suppliers;
• Manage service level agreements, scope of work and contract terms with service providers;
• Advise facilities departments on the lead time needed to obtain products or services;
• Make alternative arrangements in case of shortages or late deliveries to minimize the impact on the organization;
• Study and implement a strategic sourcing and risk mitigation plan in order to minimize supply and cost risks;
• Negotiate CAPEX and OPEX projects for the group's factories, locally and according to the specifics of each business unit;
• Monitor continuous improvement projects in the industrial areas, providing support in market consultations and dialogue with external partners.

The talent we search for:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance, Mechanical, Logistics or similar;
• Professional experience as a Commercial in maintenance and repair areas (tooling, screws, consumables, repair and spare parts, engines filters, industrial equipment);
• Previous experience in Procurement MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) will be a plus;
• Knowledge of SAP in the purchasing areas it will be a plus;
• Domain of the English language (spoken and written), Spanish will be valued as well;
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly, think creatively and critically;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a relationship driven approach to develop close working relationships with key stakeholders across all organizational levels.
