As a BIM Work Planner you will be responsible for support with general work planning based on the BIM Model supplied. You are closely involved in the internal site consultation between the various departments, linking the BIM model to the planning and all the necessary related matters.
Your remit:
- Compilation of the building model, assembled by bringing together the aspect models of the various disciplines involved in the building process using a certain structure, protocols and programmes;
- Development of the design model to arrive at a model for production planning. Adding data to the building model and generating output both graphic and numerical.
- You check the BIM model for consistency, flag clashes and inconsistencies and look for improvements and optimisations;
- You generate 2D drawings and quantities from models for calculation, purchasing, execution, ... and make a link between planning and the BIM model;
- You are the point of contact for all internal questions about BIM and you take on challenges to create support for BIM with the team;
- You provide support and limited training for colleagues in the other departments.
- You are a qualified Civil Engineer or equivalent by experience;
- You are passionate about BIM and want to continuously educate yourself in this field.
- You have excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit and can also work with Autodesk, AutoCAD.
- You have the necessary technical and construction insight. You speak English fluently and can work with the most common MS Office applications;
- You are a highly driven team player, able to successfully complete assignments in an independent manner;
