Due to the migration project we are looking for the individuals who will be responsible for Asset Servicing service which is provided by Citi as a custodian. This service includes collecting dividends and interest payments, processing corporate actions and applying for tax relief from foreign governments on behalf of customers.

Warsaw Asset Servicing is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of different corporate event types across multiple markets. The Asset Servicing department interfaces directly with the local market entities including depositary, counterparts and regulators as well as other Citi lines of business, internal and external clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • The accurate and timely processing of all events assigned.

- Event Creation and Notifications

- Incoming instruction processing

- Preparation of instructions to the market

- Payment Processing

  • Adhere to all Departmental Procedures and Controls
  • Escalate processing errors and potential risks to line manager upon discovery
  • Where relevant provide detail of exceptions and resolution date to Team Leader
  • Ensure the timely resolution of all Cash and Stock Breaks
  • Ensure MIS is recorded on a weekly basis
  • Monitor and action all daily diary messages
  • Ensure all daily checklists are completed
  • Provide Support to other Processors on the Team and Department
  • Participate in Contingency Testing
  • Assist with Team/ Department Projects

Requirements:

  • Very good command of English
  • Other language would be beneficial (French, Spanish, German, Portuguese)
  • Interest in the area of capital markets and knowledge in this regard
  • Income and Corporate Action past experience would be a benefit
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong investigation and reconciliations ability
  • Innovative thought process to help develop processes
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel  (Access and VBA would be a benefit)
