At the Contact Point for the Promotion of Equal Treatment of Workers in the European Union, we provide information on measures that facilitate the exercise of free movement rights for workers.
We offer legal advice in cases involving:
•    Residence rights of EU and EEA citizens and their family members, as well as third-country nationals (legal arrangements regarding residence before, during, or after moving abroad);
•    Education systems, internships, and apprenticeships (including opportunities for internships through foreign companies in Slovenia);
•    Employment and work in another EU Member State;
•    Registration with social and health insurance systems;
•    Basic information on tax legislation, including differences between business travel and posting from a tax perspective, prevention of double taxation, tax residency arrangements, and obligations to pay taxes abroad;
•    Coordination of social security and health legislation, such as obtaining A1 and U1 forms, exporting acquired rights to another EU Member State, aligning labor regulations regarding minimum protection for posted workers, arranging social insurance for cross-border service provision, and determining the competence of institutions for exercising social security rights.
