Scope of the role
The Workflow Optimisation Manager drives Eurotex’s Continuous Improvement initiatives by developing and refining work processes that maximise operational effectiveness and productivity.
The role combines strategic process thinking with hands-on implementation—translating improvement ideas into measurable results. The successful candidate will design systems that define, track, and enhance performance across our operations, setting the foundation for long-term efficiency and growth.
Responsibilities
- Continuous Improvement Leadership
Lead the company’s continuous improvement needs by identifying process inefficiencies, defining priorities, and implementing sustainable solutions that deliver measurable business value.
- Process Optimisation, Standardisation & Documentation
Analyse workflows across sorting and production operations; develop streamlined, scalable, and well-documented processes that improve effectiveness and can be transferred to other sites in the future. Meanwhile keeping detailed records of process information and creating reports about detail sorting operations performance.
- Performance Measurement & KPIs
Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness, productivity, and quality. Establish systems for regular data collection, performance review, and improvement tracking.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
Quickly identify and troubleshoot sorting operations issues when arise, understanding root causes, developing and testing potential solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with production leaders and process owners to build improvement-oriented teams capable of implementing and maintaining optimised workflows.
- Change Management & Leadership
Drive change management efforts, helping teams adapt to new processes through communication, engagement, and support.
- Training & Culture Transformation
Design and deliver Lean training programs (5S, Kaizen, problem solving, visual management) for employees at all levels. Facilitate a culture of continuous improvement by recognizing achievements and promoting small-step improvements.
- Data-Driven Decision Making
Gather and analyse operational data to identify root causes, validate improvements, and support data-backed decisions for process enhancement.
- Project Management
Plan and lead process improvement projects end-to-end, ensuring clear objectives, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Technology Evaluation and Implementation
Evaluates current and new technologies and determines their applicability and pilot the technology, manage its full-scale implementation, and train staff.
- Operations Scaling
Advise and take the lead on the launching of new sorting operations, automation and machinery.
- Safety and Compliance
Ensure all processes in our sorting operations comply with safety regulations and standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, or production management
- Strong background in Lean / Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven ability to define and track KPIs, optimise workflows, and implement measurable improvements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator and natural change leader
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and results-oriented mindset
- Fluency in English; other languages are an advantage
